"..peculiar to art is a palpable character, a metaphoric intensity, an elusive play in its artifactual presentation of meanings apprehended. Art calls to our attention in capital, cursive letters, as it were, what usually flits by in reality as fine print."
Calvin Seerveld, Rainbows for a Fallen World*

God is moving in the arts around the world. If you have been gifted with creative and artistic abilities you have an amazing opportunity to deepen your impact for His Kingdom through your gifts. On the Tribeca Arts Project you will think deeply about the integration of your art and faith and be challenged to create artwork that is excellent and reflects redemptive Kingdom values, truth and beauty.

You will...

*Create artwork collaboratively with artists of various mediums culminating in a 3-day exhibition at the end of Project.

*Connect with mentors - professional artists who are also Christians living in New York City.

*Delight in the Artist - God

*Engage others in spiritual dialogue through Soularium and your art.

*Grow in your ability an an artist to embody and communicate the gospel.

*Live among artists in Mid-Town Manhattan.

*Be surrounded by like-minded students and staff who love the Arts

*Be part of a larger movement of the 5 Track Tribeca Summer Project (Arts, Campus, Bridges, Epic, Inner City) reaching New York City through contextualized ministry

All mediums welcome (painters, sculptors, filmmakers, writers, dancers, etc.) You will need to submit 3-5 jpeg images (or the like) from your portfolio after you apply to the project. Information on how to do so will follow receipt of your application.

Students apply to and serve in one track for the entire project. But since we function in 5 tracks (Art, Bridges, Campus, Inner City, Epic), you may apply to more than one (having another/others as 2nd or 3rd choices).
