This is an Epic Movement Summer Project. Epic is our ministry to Asian Americans.
This project is for any Asian American students and those learning to minister to Asian American college students by launching Epic Movements.
A summer by the Bay is about more than trolley car rides, clam chowder bread bowls, and photos of the Golden Gate Bridge. It is about helping to launch spiritual movements on campuses that really need the hope of Jesus. It is about reaching out to communities in one of the the most ethnically diverse areas of our country. It is about serving those who are poor and those who are marginalized. It is about being the incarnational light of Christ to those who think they know Him but have yet to really meet Him.
We will train you in ways to launch new campus movements, sharing your faith in Christ, and cross-cultural ministry. Our Epic emphasis means we will also help you see some of the unique ways that God can use the Asian American culture to bless the Body of Christ.
Other aspects of our Project, aside from campus ministry, include social justice ministry in downtown San Francisco, partnering with other ministries to serve local communities, and helping you understand more fully your Asian American identity.
