A SUMMER OF LIGHT!
At the peak of winter, Swedes experience less than seven hours of daylight - but don't worry! As part of our summer team, you will enjoy ministry and sightseeing during the longest daylight hours this country experiences-and you'll be a part of introducing many Swedes to the unconditional love of Christ.
One of the most stable economies in the world, this land of mountains and forests is a great place to spend a summer. You will come to Uppsala, the fourth-largest city in Sweden. Uppsala Cathedral is one of the largest in Northern Europe, and yet many people who are considered Christians rarely attend church. There is a real need for true proclamation of the gospel to counter the religious relativism and spiritual deadness.
The summer project will be engaging students at Uppsala University, the oldest university in Scandinavia (founded in 1477). A prestigious university with several Nobel laureates in the sciences, Uppsala University has over 40,000 students but very little spiritual activity. The STINT team has been in town for several years, and the summer will be an integral part of their ongoing ministry. Bring spiritual vitality to post-Christian Sweden as you bring the Truth and Light to this beautiful land.
