CAMPUS (URBAN CAMPUS FOCUS)

New York City has been called the “gorgeous mosaic,” home to an incredible diversity of cultures and ethnic groups.  The campuses of New York City are no less so. New York City campuses represent students from a variety of ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.  In one afternoon you could meet someone from every continent!   

In the midst of this diversity, there is a great need for the gospel to be shared.  There are over 1 million college students in NYC, many of whom have never heard the gospel!  On top of that, only 2 percent of NYC residents are believers.  Therefore, there is a great need for YOU to come share the hope of Christ with these students.  

 This project will equip you with training in how to share your faith, through daily evangelistic opportunities on NYC college campuses.  In addition, you will grow in awareness of and sensitivity to cultures other than your own. And in the midst of this you will have the opportunity to enjoy and explore what is arguably the best city in the world! Come join the New York City Summer Project for a summer you will never forget!
